Two of Us – to wybór wierszy z wcześniej wydanych tomików w angielskim przekładzie autorki. Podobnie jak jej debiutancka książka poetycka Lato w Surrey składa się z erotyków. Autorka wprowadza czytelników w świat, w którym na pierwszy plan wysuwają się zmysły.

Jej twórczość poetycka jest niewątpliwie sumą naukowych, kulturowych i antropologicznych zainteresowań, a także zapisem własnych doświadczeń. Ma charakter zarówno autonomiczny, jak i intertekstualny.

„Karminowy” tomik zawiera dziesięć utworów obejmujących lata 1982–2021, które ilustrują zdjęcia z archiwum autorki i Zuzanny Lipińskiej odpowiedzialnej za projekt i skład. Został wydany przez Związek Pisarzy Polskich na Obczyźnie.

Two of Us is a selection of previously published poems on erotica, now in the author’s English translation, and includes selections from her debut book of poems Lato w Surrey. In this her latest work, the author introduces readers to a world where the senses are at the forefront.

Bogumiła Żongołłowicz’s poetic work of is undoubtedly the sum total of her interests scientific, cultural, anthropological, as well as a record of her own experiences. It is both autonomous and intertextual in nature.

A book with a carmine-coloured cover, comprising ten poems covering the years 1981–2021, is illustrated with photographs from the archives of the author and Zuzanna Lipińska, responsible for the design and typesetting. It was published by the Union of Polish Writers Abroad.
